Rheumatic Heart Disease is a serious long-term heart condition that affects millions of people, especially in low-resource settings. Many patients need lifelong blood-thinning medication, but regular monitoring is difficult due to travel costs, limited clinic access, and inconsistent testing.
This project is testing a mobile-phone based tool that helps patients:
Understand the importance of INR testing
Receive guidance on when to test
Improve medication adherence
Connect more easily with clinicians
The goal is to make care safer, easier, and more accessible.
